What we do
Paige & Paxton enables faith-based organizations to operate STEM Children's Ministries that energize and galvanize community stakeholders around preparing children for a brighter future.
American children face a distinct disadvantage in acquiring the essential skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) needed to thrive in a 21st century global economy.
The issue is especially problematic in urban and rural areas where schools often receive less funding for quality
STEM programs. Even then, it's often too late. Foundational STEM interest, awareness and knowledge are nurtured at the elementary level—typically before the age of 7. Yet most U.S. schools postpone genuine STEM coursework to middle or high school.
Young black families, in particular, are worried about whether "their children or the children around them are receiving a good enough education."
